For the rules, the self-regulation codes for MTB are valid; the comments are from CAI MTB-guide of Parma and Reggio E. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The SD-MTB and SD-GRAVEL routes go mainly on trails and dirty roads.  They have all been previously tracked and geolocalized with the use of a manual gps system, which makes the gpx tracks and the road books highly reliable. The SD-MTB and SD-GRAVEL routes mainly follow marked roads and paths but they are not tabulated and marked on specific way for cycling. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The paths are kept clean by CAI volunteers, but they can always present sudden changes and security and visibility issues due to small landslides, growth of vegetation, trees and fallen branches. If you decide to start this amazing journey, please be equipped with cutting tools and prepare to improvise alternative routes if necessary. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our team of volunteers are doing their best to keep the walking and cycling paths clean and accessible, but that is unfortunately not enough. Thats why your help will be fully appreciated. This concept is further extrapolated: \u201cchoose to undertake a trial only under environmental conditions that minimize the damage to the natural heritage\u201d. This involves cycling, or hiking, in areas, or in specific timeframes of particular fragility for fauna and flora.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> The impact of the MTBs should be limited to roads and paths, which are already the work of man. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, it is necessary that the passage of bikes does not alter these paths. The rolling of the bicycle wheel tends to compact the ground, while a wheel that crawls can create a groove. On hard or rocky surfaces the effect is practically irrelevant, but the rolling impact can highly damage the paths on soft ground and wet environmental conditions. the above, must be taken into account at any time while cycling. The \u201ccycle-excursion\u201d driving style is \u201ceco-friendly\u201d, as it is based on the principle of low-impact action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> Compatibility with other users is resolved by applying the Italian Road Code. The respect that we owe, beyond the universal principles of good education and civil coexistence, is not limited to other hikers. We need to think about those who live off the resources of the territory: farmers, shepherds, breeders. Dare la precedenza agli altri escursionisti non motorizzati;<br><strong>2<\/strong>. Procedere con cautela durante i sorpassi e avvisare con il giusto anticipo del proprio arrivo;<br><strong>3<\/strong>. Tenere sempre sotto controllo la propria velocit\u00e0;<br><strong>4<\/strong>. Rimanere sempre all\u2019interno del percorso tracciato;<br><strong>5<\/strong>. Non disturbare o spaventare gli animali, siano essi domestici o selvatici;<br><strong>6<\/strong>. Non lasciare rifiuti a seguito del proprio passaggio;<br><strong>7<\/strong>. Rispettare le propriet\u00e0 private e pubbliche;<br><strong>8<\/strong>. Essere autosufficienti;<br><strong>9<\/strong>. Non intraprendere mai da soli escursioni in zone isolate;<br><strong>10<\/strong>. Rispettare il principio del minimo impatto con la natura;<br><strong>11<\/strong>. Non accedete a propriet\u00e0 private. Ottenete permessi o altre autorizzazioni laddove richiesto.<br><br><strong>2<\/strong>. <strong>Non lasciate tracce<\/strong><br>Siate sensibili al terreno sotto di voi. I percorsi in aree umide o fangose sono pi\u00f9 vulnerabili dei percorsi asciutti. Quando il sentiero \u00e8 allentato considerate mete alternative. Questo implica anche il rimanere sui sentieri segnati e non crearne di nuovi. Non tagliare i tornanti. Riportate a casa i vostri rifiuti.<br><br><strong>3<\/strong>. <strong>Mantenete il controllo del vostro mezzo<\/strong><br>Anche un solo attimo di disattenzione pu\u00f2 esporre voi e gli altri a rischi. Rispettate i limiti di velocit\u00e0 e le raccomandazioni e non eccedete le vostre capacit\u00e0.<br><br><strong>4<\/strong>. <strong>Date la precedenza<\/strong><br>Fate tutto il possibile per rendervi visibili agli altri frequentatori del percorso \u2013 un saluto amichevole o un campanello sono buoni metodi. Ponete particolare attenzione quando vi avvicinate a curve cieche. I ciclisti devono dare la precedenza a tutti gli altri frequentatori dei sentieri a meno che il sentiero non sia riservato esclusivamente all\u2019utilizzo ciclistico. I ciclisti che percorrono il sentiero in discesa devono dare la precedenza a coloro che salgono, a meno che non si tratti di un percorso chiaramente indicato per la sola percorrenza in discesa. Fate tutti gli sforzi possibili per rendere i sorpassi sicuri e cortesi.<br><br><strong>5<\/strong>. <strong>Non spaventate gli animali<\/strong><br>Gli animali sono facilmente spaventati da un approccio senza preavviso, un movimento improvviso o un forte rumore. Date agli animali il giusto spazio e tempo per adeguarsi alla vostra presenza. In caso di superamento di cavalli, prestate particolare attenzione e seguite le indicazioni del cavaliere (chiedete in caso di incertezza). Fare scappare il bestiame e disturbare la fauna selvatica sono reati gravi.<br><br><strong>6<\/strong>. <strong>Pianificate in anticipo<\/strong><br>Abbiate consapevolezza dello stato della vostra attrezzatura, delle vostre capacit\u00e0 e del luogo dove\u00a0si svolger\u00e0 l\u2019escursione e preparatevi di conseguenza. Organizzatevi per essere autosufficienti: mantenete la vostra attrezzatura al riparo e portate il necessario per cambiarvi in caso di tempo mutevole o altre occasioni.
