The route from Quattro Castella enters the heart of the territory that once belonged to Matilde, touching some of its most important places:\u2026\n<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<!-- Iframe per desktop -->\n\t\t\t<iframe class=\"wm_iframe_map wm_iframe_desktop\" src=\"https:\/\/60.app.geohub.webmapp.it\/#\/map?track=82525\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/iframe>\n\n\t\t\t<!-- Iframe per mobile -->\n\t\t\t<iframe class=\"wm_iframe_map wm_iframe_mobile\" src=\"https:\/\/60.mobile.webmapp.it\/map?track=82525\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/iframe>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"wm_body_description\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\n<p><p><strong>Notes<\/strong>: Some sections to push the bike \u2013 NCB from Madonna della Battaglia to C\u00e0 Roma.<\/p><\/p>\n\n<h3>Description of the stage<\/h3>\n\n<p>The stage is short, it can be cycled in half a day.<\/p>\n\n<p>The route from Quattro Castella enters the heart of the territory that once belonged to Matilde, touching some of its most important places: the \u201cFour hill park\u201d that houses the Bianello Castle and the Lipu Oasis, the church of Madonna della Battaglia, the Canossa Castle and the Rossena Castle.<\/p>\n\n<p>This will be the first contact with the environment and the paths of the Reggio Emilia Hill, with its wooded areas that alternate with agricultural land and small villages with ancient buildings that are often well preserved. The biker will realize that cycling here is not a joke: a succession of steeply climbs and downhills  that are not always cycleable due to the clayey surfaces that are often furrowed and \u201csticky\u201d when wet. On the other hand, at the peak of each ridge, there will be the surprise of a new point of view \u2026<\/p>\n\n<p>The Canossa \u2013 Rossena area has so many reasons of interest and hiking trails, feasible in a loop, that it deserves a day\u2019s stop; the Rupe di Campotrera and the Castello di Rossena \u2013 Torre Rossenella system are particularly noteworthy.<\/p>\n\n<h2><p><strong>Technical notes<\/strong><\/p><\/h2>\n\n<p><p><strong>Suggested stops:<\/strong> Le Pietre (3 km), Villa Marconi, Rossena Castle (6 km -150 m).<\/p>\r\n<p><strong>Water-refill stations:<\/strong> Grassano Church, Canossa Castle.<\/p>\r\n<p><strong>Facilities:<\/strong> Madness Bike Shop 0522 873306 \u2013 San Polo d\u2019Enza, the only shop available in the
