Cereggio Village- 765 mslm

The hamlet of Cereggio preserves typical buildings of the rural architecture of the high Reggio Apennines. The inhabited area is dominated by the church, a fine example of nineteenth-century religious architecture. The narrow alleys offer suggestive views and there is also the trace of an ancient tower house. Noteworthy are some finely carved sandstone entrance portals and a series of devotional icons in Carrara marble.
