Monte Staffola – 680 mslm

It’s one of the best panoramic viewpoint of the medium Reggiano Apennine. 

n a clear day looking towards the South the whole Apennine ridge between Tuscany and Emilia is visible, including the one between Mount Cimone and the tops of the Parmesan Apennine, whereas looking towards North, in the far distance, the encircling chain of Alpine tops can be seen.

From Mount Staffola’s top, a wide still active landslide, involving thick clay layers, stems.
