Montedello Village – 620 mslm

The ancient village is perched on a rocky cliff that rises across the valley of the Enza river.

A characteristic of this village is the presence of numerous beautiful finely worked Apennine sandstone portals. These date back to the work of expert seventeenth-century artisans, who took inspiration from the Tuscan Renaissance art. Noteworthy are also numerous devotional images made in Carrara marble, some of which of high artistic quality.
