Situated in the domain of the Lucido and Tassonaro valleys, you can enjoy suggestive panoramas. 

The fiefdom was a thriving artisan center, first under the Malaspina family of Fosdinovo and Castel dell’Aquila di Gragnola and then from 1418 under Florence.

The most interesting elements of the hamlet are the ancient 14th century door in the old part of the village, the 15th century church of Sant’Andrea and the oratory of San Rocco (18th century).
