Stage 09var: Convento Variant

Detour that shortens the journey but without dedicated signs, useful if you want to save time to enjoy the naturalistic sites of Equi Terme (Solco di Equi, the "Bozzetti" natural thermal springs, Terme, Caves of Equi), however sacrificing the visit to the village of Pieve San Lorenzo.

From the historic center of Casola, crossing the Tassonaro stream on a beautiful, suspended pedestrian bridge, you will pass by an ancient convent and then climb into the woods. First you will head South then South-East, following clear traces of the path until you intersect the main itinerary, just upstream of Argigliano, enjoying a beautiful view of Pieve San Lorenzo and its entire valley.
